What’s the best television show on air right now?  If anyone mentions some reality show, I will be forced to ring your neck.  And if anyone says ‘Dancing With The Stars’, I will assume it’s my mother, even if your alias is AwesomeTattooGuy09er, so this is your only free pass.  So we’ve got: Entourage, Californication, Weeds, 24, Fringe, Madmen, Eli Stone, Dirty Sexy Money, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy, etc.

Art: what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.

In a way, people can be separated into two categories- those who create and those who follow the creators.  Art is the product of a creative, gifted mind.

In a February 8 panel discussion at New York Comic Con, Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly) unveiled never-before-seen footage from his upcoming Fox series Dollhouse and alluded to a possible sequel to his acclaimed web-exclusive musical comedy, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.

Little is known about the inevitable sequel to The Dark Knight, but producer Chuck Roven told MTV’s Splash Page that director Christopher Nolan and writer David Goyer are already “thinking" about the next installment in the blockbuster Batman film franchise.

When asked about future villains and whether the series would have gone in a different direction if filmmakers had known the late Heath Ledger would not be reprising his role as the maniacal Joker, Roven hinted that we may not have seen the last of the Clown Prince of Crime. Let the speculation begin.

The Weinstein Company and Universal Pictures have set an August 21, 2009 North American release date for Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited World War II film, Inglourious Basterds, Reuters reports. The film is inspired by Italian director Enzo Castellari’s 1978 film, The Inglorious Bastards. Tarantin...

Prior to seeing Slumdog Millionaire, I knew almost nothing about it. I had heard that it was directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) and that it somehow revolves around India’s version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but that’s about it. I was pleasantly surprised that this rags-to-riches underdog story not only has its heart in the right place, but is also incredibl...

Every rolling stone i get there's an article about how bad the music industry is hurting.  Maybe if cds weren't still $15, people would buy them.  If the record labels asked you the consumer what a fair price is- what would you say?  Is it $10, $8, $5?  I'm not sure, but what the average consumer fails to take into consideration are the costs of making an album.  These costs drive up the price, but at the same time record execs are still pulling in millions each year.  Thousands of people in the music business have lost their job recently; maybe instead of letting them go- the people making 6 figure salaries should find a fucking solution.  These people dont make the music; their only job is to manipulate the ...

America’s Integrity: What You See Is What You Get

TV Land, the once nostalgic baby boomer channel with “Gun Smoke” and “Bonanza,” has gotten in on the lucrative business of reality television.  Introducing “The Cougar,” a near menopausal (babe) skanks it up for seven “Tool Academy” rejects.  I’ve only seen the commercial but I’m not sure what is worse: the show itself or the fact it succeeds an hour of “The Andy Griffith Show.”  We will continue to see our country’s values muddy and blur.  Remember it wasn’t fifty years ago when women were innocent housewives with skirts to their ankles.  Now it’s thonged desp...

DAVID GRAY: Yet to be Titled, Out in September 2009

Very little has been released or discussed about this album other than song titles on David Gray’s YouTube page.  However in a recent video the strings can be heard being added to his song “Jackdaw” that had made its way into recent tours, a fan favorite.  From this song there appears to be a similar tone to this album as his last, “Life in Slow Motion.”  Depending on what David Gray you prefer: the modern or the folky of old, it’s either a must get or one to check o...

 COLDPLAY: In Progress

All I’ve got on this are Roadie comments.  Apparently there’s a lot of music left over from Viva La Vida that they’re tinkering with.  There was talk about new funky drum rhythms and tempos that are turning out to be really beautiful and haunting.  From the excitement buzzing around the Coldplay camp, if you’re a fan, keep on the look out for any new news or music coming from them.  It’s sure to kick ass.
