BLOG - COLE CAINE Approved Sneakers

Italian shoe company Superga has been making iconic casual footwear since 1913. This sneaker has a sleek, low profile and features orange canvas uppers and a rubber sole that wraps around the toe.  There's nothing flashy about these kicks- they are simple and easy on the eyes.  They are a quality choice for anyone's collection.

Made to look like vintage classics right out of the box, these Nike Terminator low-tops feature leather uppers and aged not-so-white-anymore midsoles. These Nikes are super nice; they looked dope on Jordan in the 80's and will look dope on you today.  You can rock them with denim or shorts.  Make the purchase.

Schmoove move- o I couldn't pass that opportunity up. Low profile pointed sneaker from French footwear innovators. Rich leather uppers, with perforated wingtip detailing.  You can wear these with anything without overdoing it.  They are on the preppy side and may be a bit out of some's comfort level- but they are worth taking a dive in the deep end for.  Evolve- just do it man.

Low profile pointed sneaker with rich suede uppers. These shoes are a bit on the pricey side but make up for it with their versatility.  You can dress them up or down.  Wear them with a casual suit without a neck tie or without the jacket.  You can wear them with jeans and even khaki shorts.  Drop the extra coin for these bad boys.

John Varvatos tire sole ankle boot. Lace-up ankle boots in leather or suede with tire tread rubber sole. Hand made in Italy. Tonal top stitching details. For 300 bucks I won't call these a bargain, but man are they slick.  If you are in the market for a nice, new pair of boots- this is your boot.  If you are on the fence- just pull the trigger boss.  You won't regret it.

Just blaze in these lightweight Nike Blazers, with a grey synthetic leather upper, suede toe box and Swoosh detailing at the sides. Simple sneaker with a hint of edge.  They've got a west coast vibe to them; they look like the kicks you'd wear to the beach on your board.  Just remember to take em off before you hit the water- they need air too.

Made to look like vintage classics, these Vandals from Nike feature leather uppers with contrasting detail and iconic Swoosh. Woven nylon stability collar strap and printed logo on the backs. They are a bit on the boxy side, but it's my only complaint with these. They give off a nice, urban vibe. Perfect with your favorite jeans and T.

With its lightweight, flexible construction, these Prada Sport sneakers will have you thinking you are walking barefoot.  Normally I think Prada sneakers are absolutely terrible, but these i like.  Would I drop 400 on them?  No, I'd rather buy a pair of Paul Smith leather loafers.  Dropping 400 on a nice pair of dress shoes is a great investment.  400 on sneakers just isn't right- nobody worth talking to needs Prada for the gym.

Alexander McQueen known for innovative and chic design, lends a hand to Puma to create designer footwear.  These black patent leather sneakers are unique and tasteful.  They say you're a bit artsy and you have your finger on the pulse of the fashion world.  You'll walk by someone and they'll look at your feet curious and a bit envious of you.

Not much to say about these except for the fact that they are bad ass!  You want to make a statement- rock these.  Alexander McQueen rarely missteps- and he sure as hell does not here.
